CLASS OF
R.I.P. -- The Final Prom
A One-Act
Musical by Jonathan Van Dyke
What lengths would you go to for the perfect prom?
Sheila has the perfect life.
She's popular. She has good friends. She has the perfect boyfriend.
Life is good...until a fatal accident turns her world upside-down. But
Sheila's not about to let death...or the afterlife...stand in the way
of her dream prom night. With a little help from her friends, the
school science geek, and a mysterious Dark Lady, Sheila's going to
ensure that everyone's prom is a real scream. Punctuated by popular
songs from the 1960s to today, Class of RIP: The Final Prom is a darkly
comedic musical about high school, young love, and the consequences of
defying death. Featuring hit songs of the 1960s, including "My
Boyfriend's Back," "I Got You Babe," "The Loco-Motion" and more.
Class of R.I.P. is a one-act musical suitable for high schools,
youth ensembles and community theaters. It features some gore and
humorously-presented frightening scenes. It may not be suitable for
performance by children under 13.
