THE CREATIVE TEAM

JONATHAN VAN DYKE (Writer/Director/Choreographer) began his career as a performer at Walt Disney World before moving to New York and the theatre. He has appeared in national tours, regional theatre, off-Broadway, and in TV, film, and numerous industrials. Totally Electric was his first crack at writing, and four years later the show came to vibrant life in Greenwich Village. Sold-out performances and an extension of the run resulted in back-to-back productions in Tampa, Orlando, Sarasota,  Riverview and New Orleans. The success of Totally Electric led to new writing opportunities for Busch Gardens, corporate events, and a new show called The Class of R.I.P: The Final Prom, which opened in the fall of 2008. After concentrating on producing and directing, his acting career is back in full swing. In addition to Totally Electric, he recently appeared in the feature film Prime of Your Life, and theatrical productions of The Full Monty, The Last FiveYears and as Albert Peterson in the national tour of Bye Bye Birdie.

MEREDITH McDERMOTT (Musical Director) is thrilled to be working, yet again, on Totally Electric. She has been performing with the show since June 2007 and is excited to be working on the production side of things as well! Her other performing credits include Ragtime, The Prince and the Pauper (Southeastern U.S. Premiere), Once Upon a Mattress, the theatrical revues Broadway Gone MAD and White Hot Broadway, and numerous concerts and performances as both a vocalist and a percussionist. She studied music at the University of South Florida, and has conducted and performed with numerous orchestras, bands, and choirs. When not onstage, she is a theatre instructor, director, and vocal coach in Tampa, Florida. Love and thanks to her family and friends for their love and support, especially Marlee, Kathy, and Simo; to the kids in 2932 for always believing in us; and most of all to Jonny, for continuing to share this amazing journey with me. Meredith McDermott
CHRISTOPHER DEMARTINO (Choreographer) Tino's most recent projects include choreographing the New York Premiere of Totally Electric, as well as The Rocky Mountain Review Show in Estes Park, CO. Tino was most recently seen at Radio City Music Hall as a dancer for the opening of Cindy Lauper's True Colors tour. He has also performed on the high seas with Stiletto Entertainment and performed in a variety of shows with Busch Gardens Entertainment in Tampa. PHOTO COMING SOON
